Committees make their recommendations to the Village Council in February. After a public hearing the Council votes on the upcoming fiscal year's budget.
The dashboard gives a quick look at several measurements that tell residents how well the Village government is performing. The intent of the Citizen’s Guide is to provide a graphical presentation of the most important financial measures. The Citizen’s Guide summarizes the key financial trends that are indicative of the village’s fiscal health. Debt Service Report (submitted November 2021) Another state requirement is to provide a report of the Village's debt (Debt Service Report). Projected Budget Report (submitted November 2021) Further, a projected budget report is required. This report includes information regarding general fund revenues & expenditures for the current fiscal year and a general fund budget projection for the next fiscal year. The projection includes an explanation of assumptions used for the projections.
