CRAVEN PARK

CRAVEN PARK MAP
Craven Park Campground is a great place to stay. The park has many fully functioning sites with electric and water. For the more rustic campers, primitive sites are available. There is a beautiful view of Craven Pond with plenty of fishing opportunities. The quiet park has a nearby walking loop, the Cedar River Natural Area Trails System, that winds through the woods. Craven Park is conveniently located just a mile east of downtown Bellaire, which has great dining and shopping opportunities. Richardi Park, with a swimming beach, basketball, and tennis courts, is just a short walk away from downtown. Not far away is Glacial Hill Pathway and Natural Area, with a large trail network suitable for both hiking and mountain biking. Also within easy driving distance is the Grass River Natural Area.
Self-Registration: The campground is now operating by self-registration. Camping is first come-first serve. You'll find instructions for self-registration posted on the bath house. Although no campground caretaker will be on the premises, either Department of Public Works employees or Police Department officers will be making daily rounds. Craven Park Campground is open from April 1st (weather permitting) through October 31st.
