Zoning Board of Appeals Vacancy (posted 8-17-2026)The Village of Bellaire is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Zoning Board of Appeals as an alternate member for the term that expires November 15, 2028. The Planning Commission holds four regular meetings per year. Additional meetings are scheduled as needed. Police Officer (posted 7/8/2026) The Village of Bellaire is looking for an experienced and dedicated Police Officer to serve and protect the Village of Bellaire Community. You will perform a variety of job duties, including patrolling the Village of Bellaire to prevent crime and enforce Village, State, and Federal Laws. The Bellaire Police Department will be taking applications until position is filled. Executive Director PositionFor the Village of Bellaire Downtown Development Authority (posted 6-23-2026)The Village of Bellaire Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is accepting applications for a part-time DDA Executive Director Position. Applicants must possessbasic working knowledge of office, email, and digital skills. Prefer that applicants have experience with grant writing, municipal administration or nonprofit work as well as an interest in small town economic development. This is a part-time position that may require some evening and/or weekend hours to coordinate events & projects. Hours could be flexible with some of the work being completed remotely. Responsibilities would include attending monthly DDA Meetings, preparing meeting information & packets, providing light project management, track board actions & ensure timely follow up. Assist with Downtown Bellaire event coordination & promotion. Coordinating with the Village of Bellaire staff as well as Bellaire Chamber of Commerce to align efforts, promotions & communication. Applicants must possess strong organizational & time management skills along with the ability to work independently & manage competing priorities within the limited hours of the position. This is a contracted position, no benefits are offered, compensation is $6500 a year, to be invoiced quarterly. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the effective operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment system along with the daily DPW tasks.
