Wastewater Plant Superintendent
The Village of Bellaire is excited to announce an opening for the position of Wastewater Plant Superintendent/ DPW worker. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the effective operation and maintenance of our wastewater treatment system along with the daily DPW tasks. Possession of a Class C wastewater license with the state of Michigan is required.

Campground Reservation Specialist
The Village of Bellaire is excited to announce an opening for the position of a Campground Reservation Specialist. The individual chosen will have considerable camping experience and be familiar with both RV and primitive campgrounds. They will provide their own camper and will be assigned a convenient campsite at Craven Park. They will have a history of success in dealing with the public in general and campers in particular. The campground is open for 6 months from April 1st until October 31st. The reservation specialist will work closely with village personnel while performing their duties. This is a non-paying position but the individual selected will be offered full hook-up camping for the season at no charge.

Part Time Seasonal Mower:
The Village of Bellaire is accepting applications through May 1, 2025, for a part-time seasonal position dedicated to grounds maintenance within the Lakeview Cemetery and Village Parks/Recreation Areas for no more than 30 hours per week. The selected applicant will be required to operate and maintain mowing and trimming equipment, apply fertilizer, and prune shrubs and trees.
Applicant must possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License; must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Applicant must be willing to submit to drug screening, pre-employment physical, and a criminal background check.

DDA Board Member
The Village of Bellaire Downtown Development Authority is excited to announce an open position on their board. This is a volunteer position that meets once a month on the last Wednesday of the month at 9:00 AM. The DDA analyze the impact of economic changes and growth in the downtown district.
